Flying around the world, especially on vacation may sound glamorous. But in reality, youre taking your health in your hands. Should you break up the trip? Wear a face mask? What are some tricks and tips for not arriving home sick?

Frequent long haul flyers offer all types of advice. Pick and choose and from it and please add your feed back about whats worked for you. Try to be rested before taking off. If possible, take a late evening flight with the first leg of the trip being the longest, so you can hopefully sleep.

The latest order is not because any new cracks have been found, but expands on earlier checks.

London — All Airbus A380 airplanes must be checked for cracks in the wings, the European Aviation Safety Agency ordered Wednesday.

The order covering all A380s does not mean the planes must be grounded, said Dominique Fouda, a spokesman for the aviation agency.

Avoid the crowds of high season and discover Cape Cod in the winter time! There are plenty of activities as well as restaurants to choose from.

Most visitors to Cape Cod come in the summer to indulge in ice cream, beaches, boat rides and mini golf. Although the Cape is beautiful and full of fun things to do in the summer, it is also a wonderful place to visit in the winter. There are even some benefits of visiting Cape Cod in the winter: no traffic on Route 28 or parking fees at the beach!

Its worth considering a trip to Cape Cod in the winter.

Last week, I shared some information about Super Bowl Village as a fun option for both locals and visitors to enjoy the Super Bowl 46 atmosphere. But if quiet contemplation and creative artistry is a little bit more your speed, then let me suggest taking in the sites of 46 for XLVI, a public art project on display throughout the city.

This is a partnership between the City of Indianapolis and the Arts Council of Indianapolis to showcase the cultural vibrancy of the city. Both local and national artists have created 46 murals that don walls around the city, from Speedway to Broad Ripple to South and Capitol. A

I usually don’t mention photographers collective on this blog, but I found that ArcaPress (started in May of 2010) which highlights Brazilian culture and covering such areas as religion, indigenous people, economic issues, urban reality, environment and wildlife.

I was particularly drawn to Between Faith And Fever by Guy Veloso, and Maracatu by Celso Oliviera.

Maracatu is the name of performance genres found in northeastern Brazil and in its northeastern state of Ceará. Maracatu describes the music style that accompanies these performances.
