FCm Travel Solutions won £3 million worth of new business in Northern Ireland in the first half of 2011.
The travel management company (TMC) has picked up contracts across a number of sectors, including pharmaceutical, textile, marine and charity.
Among the new clients for FCm are the Northern Ireland Memorial Fund and Craigavon Intercultural Partnership.
The TMC’s Belfast team has expanded to 12, with two additional travel managers to help with the new clients.
Some 70% of transactions through the office are air and hotel bookings, while the remaining are made up of domestic rail and car hire.
Half of clients have chosen to use FCm’s online self booking tools, with the other 50% opting to work instead with a dedicated travel manager.
Ciarán Kelly, FCm’s general manager, said he was “delighted” with the new wins.
“Many companies in the region have been keeping in contact with FCm over the years since we first established our office here,” he said, “and these recent wins are a few examples of companies who are now ready to take the step and explore the new possibilities we are bringing to the market.”
